The Duke of Hamilton, Hampstead
“Working with Inn Control helps me sleep at night. As a businessman who is involved in a few industries you need to feel you’re surrounded by a great team. Their advice has changed my thinking process. Since we have been with Inn Control, they have exceeded my expectations in every aspect of my working relationship but honestly, if I was to sum the business up - they feel like an extension of my team here, it’s as if we work in the same office.”
About the pub
The Duke of Hamilton is one of the oldest pubs in London dating back some 300 years ago, it’s been a pub with much history, appearing in the best beer guide for over 20 years. The pub has a great following, and has excellent reputation for Real Ale.
The locals are friendly and really enjoy what truly is one of the last proper boozers still standing in Hampstead village, it really is a must see. The duke was the local pub where the late Oliver Reed was seen every day.
In recent times, Steve has resurrected the basement space into a vibrant refurbished fringe venue called ‘Rabbit Hole’, offered to new and established music and theatre makers. With a capacity of 50 seats the space offers a very intimate and refreshing experience.
The Rabbit Hole hosts a monthly Jazz night with a world circuit performer & Ronnie Scott’s very own Will Bartlett on keys. The acoustic nights are ones to remember some previous acts including Ed Sheeran, Antigoni Buxton and James Daubney. We are currently working with Ray Quinn and assisting him on his new Pre Album Tour 2014.
