The Anchor, Tring
“I have worked with Inn Control for a few years and without hesitation have chosen them for my second pub business. The Inn Control team are very professional and very knowledgeable regarding my pubs and I have found them to be extremely helpful in all aspects. To be honest, I don’t see them as my accountants, they treat me as a friend, and they give me advice regarding my business matters like you talk to your friend and seeking solution. I’m delighted with the service and recommend them to everyone.”
About the pub
Nothing beats the atmosphere of the pub, as a place to meet up and socialise with friends and family. There’s no better place to swap news, view sports events, have a drink and share a bite to eat in a relaxed and friendly environment.
The Anchor is a great place full of character, a lovely individual place to drink and a place for local people, businesses, families and tourists to meet and call their own.
The Anchor is unique, individually designed to suit the town and respecting the pub’s history. Situated a ten minute walk west of the centre of market town Tring, this welcoming 100 year old pub, refurbished in 2012, has a spacious bar with tall tables in the two front bay windows, and more conventional seating at the rear.
The interior features lovely wooden floors, open fires, feature mirrors, pictures of local scenes and unusually, wine crate sides on one wall, TVs for sports viewing. The Anchor serves wide range of real ales including the local Tring Brewery and offers excellent food.
“I'm delighted with the service and recommend them to everyone.”
