The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step…
Hitting the ground running and delivering a successful, profitable business is crucial:
Our business plan service has been created with this in mind, tailored to get prospective licensees off to a flying start on the journey towards opening their pub.
We provide our clients with a premium service and use our experience to provide informed strategic advice delivered in a professional and timely manner at every stage of the planning process.
A well considered business plan should contain all of the risks, rewards and priorities for a prospective licensee to address from day 1. With our experience in the trade and as specialist pub accountants, we have the skills, knowledge and expertise to help licensees build successful businesses.
At the same time as getting licensees off to a great start, our aim is to build long term relationships. We aim to demonstrate our expertise as specialist pub accountants and the value for money achieved so that you engage Inn Control as specialist accountants and advisers to your new business.
Once the assumptions are established, we deliver our plans in a format and timescale which meets the needs of all interested parties using the following guiding principles:
Timing:
- Within 2 working days of receiving the initial contact by either the Regional Manager or the licensee, our advisor will make contact with the applicant
- Within 7 working days of making contact, our advisor will offer to visit the premises that the applicant is considering to meet them in person, provide advice and start the information gathering process
- Within 5 working days of this visit, the business plan will be produced ready for approval by the applicant
- All our targets are reliant on the applicant’s full cooperation. In the event of any issues which are likely to impact on the timescales set out in our service charter, we will inform the regional manager, where applicable, as soon as possible.

As experts in the licensed trade, we will advise the applicant on all business and financial issues raised by the business plan and give sound professional and commercial advice about what we believe is achievable for their chosen premises. If the applicant is unwilling to accept our advice and wishes to include something we believe to be neither achievable nor relevant, we will raise our concerns with all interested parties including the regional manager so that the issues may be taken into consideration during the decision making process.
Costs:
The cost of advising and assisting the applicant for the production of a business plan is £395 + VAT.
